Residents and visitors in the three areas accessible to Wireless Washtenaw may now self sign-up for mobile service.

Mobile service is for those who can access the Wireless Washtenaw signal without using an additional CPE device. Since the signal is designed not to penetrate deep into buildings, the best locations will be outdoors.

Important to Note: this access is unsecured. When providing sensitive information (credit card numbers, passwords, banking transactions) be sure the site you are accessing is secured. You should see the padlock symbol in the browser’s information bar or the URL should begin with HTTPS:// . This is a good rule of thumb whenever you enter sensitive information on any network.

How do you know if you’re in one of the areas? The signal is currently available in downtown Ann Arbor, Downtown Saline and Downtown Manchester.

To check if you’re in an area where a Wireless Washtenaw signal is available:

• View available networks and look for ssid 2020WWRoam.
• If you can see the ssid 2020WWRoam, connect to it.
• Open a browser. The first page you see will be a Wireless Washtenaw login page.
• Select “Sign-Up” link just below the ‘Login’ and ‘Clear’ buttons. This will take you to a Service and Rate Card page.
• Select the service you want and complete the sign-up information.

Services available are (all services are payable only by credit/debit card):

• Free 84kbps
  • A credit card is required for CALEA compliance. 20/20 Communications will not charge the card.
• $8 Per Day - 500kbps (one time charge)
• $15 Per Weekly -500kbps (one time charge)
• $20 Monthly recurring rate – 500kbps
  • Monthly rate is prorated from the day you sign-up until the end of the month.
• Charges will occur the first day you sign-up (prorated) and recur (in full) on the 1st of every month.
• To cancel, contact 20/20 Communications at 973-2020.
• There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
• Cancellation will not be prorated and occur at the end of the month.

The last page of the sign-up process will have your login information. Your login account will be:

You must use the full username@2020ww.net to login.
